DireBit Wallet Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 6, 2026
Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to the DireBit Wallet Android app with package name com.direbitwallet.app.
DireBit Wallet is a hardware wallet companion app for device readiness, firmware information, private key storage guidance, recovery-word safety guidance, local checklist state, and local diagnostics.
The app is not a cryptocurrency exchange, custodial wallet, payment service, investment app, staking app, mining app, lending app, or transaction signing service on the phone.
Data We Do Not Collect
DireBit Wallet does not collect, request, transmit, sell, or share personal or sensitive user data. In particular, the app does not collect:
- private keys, secret keys, seed phrases, or device recovery words;
- hardware wallet PINs, passwords, passphrases, or account credentials;
- wallet addresses, balances, transaction history, or signed transactions;
- identity documents, billing details, contacts, location, photos, microphone data, camera data, or biometrics;
- analytics identifiers, advertising identifiers, crash analytics, or behavioral tracking data.
Local App Data
The app may save local checklist choices and local device review status on the user's phone. This local state is used only to show the user's own hardware wallet readiness checklist inside the app.
This local data stays on the user's device. It is not sent to DireBit Wallet, third-party services, analytics providers, advertising networks, or cloud servers by the app.
Permissions and Network Access
The DireBit Wallet Android app does not request the Android INTERNET permission and does not request additional sensitive Android permissions.
The app does not include third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or social tracking SDKs.
How Data Is Used
Because the app does not collect or transmit personal data, DireBit Wallet does not use personal data for profiling, advertising, analytics, sale, sharing, or cross-app tracking.
Local checklist state is used only to display local app status to the user.
Data Sharing
DireBit Wallet does not share user data with third parties through the app. The app does not transmit private keys, recovery words, PINs, wallet addresses, balances, transaction data, or local checklist data.
Retention and Deletion
Local checklist state remains on the user's device until the user resets the local checklist, clears app storage, or uninstalls the app.
Since DireBit Wallet does not receive personal data from the app, there is no remote app data account or server-side app data to delete.
Website and Support Data
If a user visits direbit.online, uses a website form, sends an email, or contacts support outside the app, that activity is handled separately from the Android app.
This policy describes the DireBit Wallet app itself. The app does not send website, support, identity, account, or transaction information from the user's phone.
Children
DireBit Wallet is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
The app is designed so that private keys and recovery words remain on the hardware wallet device and outside the mobile app. Users should never enter recovery words, private keys, hardware wallet PINs, passwords, or passphrases into the app or share them with support.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app changes or when legal, store, or operational requirements change. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
